Save the dates for 2014 Dodge County Clean Sweep

JUNEAU

Dodge County UW-Extension announced 2014 Clean Sweep dates. Clean Sweep programs provide the public with opportunities to safely and legally dispose of unwanted pesticides, household products and chemicals. This grant-funded program is possible through grant money from Wisconsin's Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP). Generally, Dodge County has an agricultural and/or household Clean Sweep Program every two years.

2014 Clean Sweep dates for Dodge County residents will be:

· Juneau collection: 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, September 5

Site: Dodge County Highway Department Shop, 211 E Center St., Juneau

Hazardous materials collected: Farm and household

· Mayville collection: 3 to 6 p.m. Friday, September 5

Site: Dodge County Highway Department Shop, 850 Mallard Dr., Mayville

Hazardous materials collected: Farm and household

· Beaver Dam collection: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, September 6

Site: Dodge County Highway Department Shop (Town of Trenton), N8856 CTH A, Beaver Dam

Hazardous materials collected: Farm, household and pharmaceuticals

At least one site will be available for hazardous waste collections from Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) small businesses. More details will be announced closer to the event.
