BARABOO

The Lomira market of Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association and Ballweg Implement Co, Inc., are teaming to donate a John Deere children's pedal tractor for 10 upcoming county fairs, as well as the Alto Community Fair.

Equity Lomira has been a proud sponsor of these fairs for a number of years, and offered this alternative to the fair associations a few years ago. They teamed with Ballweg Implement in Waupun to further extend the offer once again this year.

"This is a nice way to give back and promote fairs in our area," says Leo Amend, Lomira market manager. "We are proud to support 4-H and FFA livestock programming within Columbia, Dodge, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Ozaukee, Sheboygan, Washington, Waushara and Winnebago County Fairs, in addition to the Alto Community Fair."

"Ballweg Implement has supported local youth for over 37 years as a buyer in fair livestock auctions," says Tom Ballweg, owner of Ballweg Implement. "We are happy to partner with Equity to further support our agriculture heritage and community."
