CLINTON

The Clinton FFA Alumni Association, Inc. announces that it has received a grant from the Rock County Agricultural Fund.

This grant will be used to support the 2013-14 and 2014-15 Wisconsin FFA Section 5 state officers.\

Section 5 of the Wisconsin Association of FFA consists of Rock, Dane and Green counties and is currently represented by Wisconsin FFA State Treasurer Jon Jennings of the Milton FFA.

The state officer is responsible for putting on classroom demonstrations in each of the 23 school districts in Rock, Dane and Green counties that have an agriculture program and also must attend and/or work at several state and national conferences and training sessions for FFA members throughout the year.

The Rock County Agricultural Fund is part of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc. The Fund was created by the board of directors of Farm Progress Days 2001 (now known as Farm Technology Days). The purpose of the fund is to promote and support positive agriculture related programming opportunities for youth and adults in Rock County. Grants are awarded through an annual application process or in response to need.
