A Good Way To Grow reaches end of 3rd quarter

BARABOO

Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association's A Good Way To Grow program is now three quarters of the way complete, advancing the total to $64,500 that will be distributed among the 4-H and FFA programs in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.

For every animal the cooperative markets for one year, Equity's board agreed to donate 10 cents; and in nine months, a substantial amount has accumulated.

"The level of support for this program has been simply amazing, and the results have allowed us to continue our financial assistance for two great youth organizations that promote leadership for those interested in agriculture," said Chuck Adami, Equity's president and CEO.

"It is so satisfying to give back to the many rural communities that have contributed so much to our growth," Adami added.

The 4-H motto and FFA mission will continue to thrive as a result of A Good Way To Grow, and Equity Coopertive Livestock Sales Association is proud to be involved.
