Pork Association to host 15th Annual Pork Classic

Pork producers, allied industry representatives, and friends of the pork industry are invited to participate in the Wisconsin Pork Association's (WPA) 15th Annual Pork Classic golf outing. The event will take place on Sept. 3 at Christmas Mountain Village, Wisconsin Dells.

Check in, lunch and practice tee will be available from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.. The four-person scramble tournament will begin at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start. A reception will be held beginning at 5 p.m., followed by dinner. Dinner this year will include BBQ Pork courtesy of Lynch Livestock, Inc.

WPA plans this outing for the purpose of allowing pork industry professionals to network, and to raise revenues to support advocacy and legislative activities on behalf of the Wisconsin pork industry.

The tournament will be a four-person scramble format. Team registration is $380, or individuals can sign-up for $95 and will be assigned to a team. The fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner, hole and team prizes.

Hole, team, and prize sponsorships are also available starting at $100. Hole in one prizes, including a chance to win $10,000, will be available. For more information on donating prizes or participating as a sponsor, contact the WPA office.
