Along with many other unique aspects of the 2014 Wisconsin Farm Technology Days show hosted by Portage is the featured diecast collectible replica farm implement.

In recognition of the county's rich history as a leader in potato production, harvesting and processing, a 1:42 scale diecast collectible replica of the 2000 Lenco Self-Propelled Airhead Potato Harvester is being sold exclusively by the 2014 Portage County Farm Technology Days committee.

Model dimensions are 11.25 inches by 6.25 inches by 3.875 inches, and only 1,000 have been produced complete with Lenco literature and commemorative packaging at a price of $325. Those who have preordered the collectible may pick theirs up at the show Aug. 12-14. Any remaining models will be available for sale at the show.

Barn calendar

FTD is also offering a custom-designed 16-month barn calendar that covers the months from September 2014 through December 2015 and features pictures of over 50 rural Wisconsin barns.

The calendars are being sold as a fundraiser by the Family Living Committee, and supplies are limited. Calendars are $12 each or $10 each when two or more calendars are purchased.

Several clothing items with the 2014 WFTD logo also will be available for sale during the show. They include the following:

· Chestnut or red T-shirt: $15, for sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL ($2 more for 2XL and 3XL)
