Washington County 4th graders will be touring farms in April.

The Jackson/Germantown tours will take place on April 18-19 hosting the following schools: Erin, St. Gabriel, Richfield, Friess Lake, Rockfield, Countyline, MacArthur (new for 2013), St. Boniface and Amy Belle (new for 2013)...for a total of 441 students. (Mequon will also bring a small group of 10 kids).

Farm Bureau and Land Conservation decided to expand its agricultural outreach to the kids in the northern part of the county by adding an additional farm tour opportunity on April 19.

The Town of Farmington (Cedar Lawn) tour will host: Decorah, Kewaskum (new for 2013) and St. Lucas (new for 2013) - for a total of 194 students.

Farm Locations include:

• South: Ross Bishop, 1736 Mill Rd., Jackson; and Charlie Jones, W188N14023 Maple Rd.; Richfield, WI 53076

• North: George Muth, 890 County Rd A, West Bend.
